Speedtest.net is a broadband connection speed testing tools provided by Ookla. It have a huge selection of geographically dispersed testing servers all around the world.
You may select the test server closer to you to get the more accurate speed result for your broadband connection. Speedtest.net will display the result at the end of each test with the download (the connection speed of data transfer from the server to your computer) and upload (the connection speed of data transfer from your computer to the server)bandwidth speeds.
Speedtest.net also allow you to share your test result with the world by coping the image link to paste on your website, blog, or forum. Besides that, you may also check back your previous broadband connection test result details such as the avarage speed, best speed, ISP average speed, country average speed, continents average speed, and global average broadband speed.
From the Global stat, you may view all the boradband connection speed all around the world or you may select a particular location to view.

Yup, had used it quite oftenly and are one of the most accurate speed test i’ve tried.
I believe Speedtest.net is even better then the official speed test tools that provided by the tm.net.my.
most of the time the test tools are down from my experience…. too sad
