Google said Thursday that its first quarter net profit rose by more than 37 percent while revenue increased by 23 percent to 6.8 billion dollars.
The Mountain View, California-based Internet search and advertising giant said net profit in the quarter which ended on March 31 was 1.96 billion dollars compared to 1.42 billion dollars in the same quarter a year ago. Google chief financial officer Patrick Pichette said revenue growth was “driven by strength across all major verticals and geographies.”
“Going forward, we remain committed to heavy investment in innovation — both to spur future growth in our core and emerging businesses as well as to help build the future of the open Web,” Pichette said in a statement.

I just started my new blog call (Share A Video) recently and the blog is mainly use to share all the video with my reader. And the video source are mainly the video I found is intereting from other web site such as facebook, youtube, and etc.
But I do face a problem where facebook don’t allow you to actually embed the video into other web site, after I googling for a while and finally found the script that help you to embed the video.
Every video uploaded on Facebook has a unique ID that you can find in the browser’s address bar (look for the value of parameter “v”).
Copy that number and replace it with xxx in the code below.
From now, you may watch the video from facebook in your web site or blog without need to register or log in into facebook account.

It seems as though the Apple iPad has been too hot, so hot that it is reported to be experiencing some overheating problems. After using it under the sunlight for some time, the editor of PC Magazine encountered an error message notifying him that the “iPad needs to cool down before you can use it”. It was so serious that he had to put it into the fridge to cool it down so it can be turned on again. It was also reported in several places that other customers are experiencing a similar problem too. The iPad has also been experiencing some Wi-Fi connection problems. Funny how the giant iPod Touch is having so much problems when basically they contain more or less the same things as the iPod Touch. Let’s hope Apple fix these problems before they launch it here in Malaysia.

Apple this morning will give select members of the press a sneak preview of the next-generation iPhone operating system.
The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. PT at Apple headquarters.
The iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad all run iPhone OS 3.0. Apple has not yet officially disclosed any details about iPhone OS 4, but a few rumors hint that a highlight feature will be enhanced multitasking. The current iPhone OS only allows a few core apps, such as iPod and Mail, to run in the background while another app is active.
A more recent rumor claims that iPhone OS 4 will debut Apple’s mobile advertising platform, which is corroborated by its $300 million acquisition of mobile advertising firm Quattro Wireless.
And perhaps more relevant to consumers, another last-minute rumor claims iPhone OS 4 will support printing from the iPad. (There is currently no native, systemwide printing feature for the iPad, though some third-party apps offer workarounds.)

iPhone 4G ‘leaked’ photos have once again started popping up, and of course, they are fake (or may be not?) by the looks of them.
This time, the leaked photos are not just of the iPhone device, but also includes unboxing, accessories, a dock etc.
The first glance at these photos tell you they are fake because Steve Jobs isn’t that dumb to call the next-generation iPhone as the iPhone 4G (what the Internet world call it as).
