ref-seek-logoJust found out this useful search engine for the student and researchers – RefSeek. It still in the beta version at this point of time.

RefSeek is a web search engine design purposely for student and research. Their main motive is to make academic information easily accessible to everyone. RefSeek cliam that they search more then one billion documents, including web pages, books, encyclopedias, journals and newspapers.

In term of the user interface, RefSeek have very simple and clear user interface with only the keyword entering text box at the main page.

RefSeek does not claim to offer more results than Google; instead, it’s only indexes articles from scientific publications and excludes any results not related to science, research and academia which is a big plus point when you are searching for specific material.

You can have RefSeek as your alternative for your research where you may get more detail as your search topic as it’s fairly standard web search engine, only without all commercial stuff. It is good for you all to have a try to the new search engine and you may get some suprise from it.

With the use of few combination of search engine such as Google, PDF Search and RefSeek, you may get a very accurate result as per your seach keywords.
