Getting your Public IP Address with Google

I believe most of the people know about the web site whatismyip.com or IP2Location.com where you may get your public IP from these web site.With the Search Engine Gaint – Google, now you get to know your public IP address by enter the following keyword such as [My IP], [my ip address], [show my ip], [what is my ip] and other similar queries.

“Just like a street address determines the recipient of a letter, an IP address (short for Internet Protocol address) is used to identify computers on the Internet. When your computer sends a request, such as a Google query, it tags the request with its IP address in order for the response to be sent back to your computer — just like a return address on a letter. (…) When you type the query [ what is my ip ], Google will respond by showing you the IP address of the computer from which the query was received. In the simplest case, this IP address uniquely identifies your computer among all computers on the Internet,” explains Google.

Office 2010 Mini Activator Apps

After install the Microsoft Office 2010, you may need to activate it. As I try many source of the installation but yet still fail to activate the software using the bundle crack provided until I found out this mini KMS activator v1.1.

This is a simply small apps which may help you to resolve the activation fail message.

Following the following step to activate your office 2010:
1. Run the mini KMS activator as Administrator
2. Click on install/uninstall KMService to install the service.
3. Click on activate office 2010 VL
4. Done

* If the activation is fail at step 3, just enter Y to retry. Testing with few machine and it working fine, but it may also not work at certain PC.

Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 keep crashing solution

When working on Coldfusion in the Adobe Dreamweaver 5 and it keep crash. Whenever I restart the applications and start my work again, it will crash again after sometime (about few minutes later on)

Asking around my colleague and get the following working solution by removing the WinFileCache-B2AEB9E2.dat file.

On Window XP

the file is located at C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Adobe\Dreamweaver 9\Configuration

On window 7

the file is located at C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS5\en_US\Configuration

* Dreamweaver will recreate the file again if it found the file missing when you relaunch the application again.

Enabled telnet service in Window 7

By default, window 7, Window Server 2008 R2, Window Vista and Window Server 2008 come with telnet service disabled. They do that is to hardern the operating system as well as to save the resources as most of the common user will never use this service at all.

To use this features, you must manually enabled it. Just following the following simple step to enabled it:

Start
Control Panel
Programs And Features
Turn Windows features on or off
Check Telnet Client
Hit OK

After that you can start Telnet via Command Prompt.

Google has officially announced that their blogger apps for iOS have been ready for download from appstore. This is a very good news for all the blogger who using blogspot as their platform such as me (my personal daily blogpost). As usual, Google product is always free for download as well as use by the public.

With this blogger app, you can write a new blog and publish it immediately or save it as a draft right from your iOS device. Not only that, you also can open the saved blog post from your computer and continue your editing your blog spot. Your blog posts are automatically synced across devices, so you’ll always have access to the latest version.
