Many of the features in iOS 4.2 were already available for the latest versions of the iPhone and the iPod Touch but not for the iPad.
Apple said iPad users can now switch between applications instantly and run more than one at a time, playing a music program like Pandora, for example, while running another application.
Applications can now be organized into folders with a drag-and-drop feature.
Email features a unified inbox for users with more than one account while “Game Center” lets users of the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch play against friends or other opponents and discover games that others are playing.
A new feature called “AirPlay” streams music, video and photos wirelessly from the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch to a television set equipped with Apple TV, Apple’s TV set-top box.
“AirPrint” allows an iPad owner to wirelessly print documents or photos to AirPrint-enabled printers from US computer maker Hewlett-Packard.
Apple said Monday that 40,000 applications have been created for the iPad and 300,000 for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

According to foreign media reports, Apples United Kingdom and France site had release the news that the next generation iPhone / iPod touch firmware iOS 4.1 is expected to be three this week (Sept. icon cool iOS 4.1 will be release soon at 8 Sept 2010 officially released.
iOS 4.1 is the first major update for the current iOS 4, it will add a series of new features, including high-definition video upload, HDR photos, game center. At the same time, the update is in order to repair iOS 4 loopholes, including the receiving sensor and Bluetooth and so on.
But up to this moment, the site show that the download of iOS4.1 still under comming soon and no one will know that will the release date will be change or not in the near future.

Learning iOS4

After upgrading my iPhone 3gs to iOS4 just some time ago, and the second thing to do after I restore back all my itune information to my iphone is to learn how to use iOS4 especially on the new features such as the multitasking and so and so on.


I believe most of the people think that Apple product are as easy to use as you even no need to reading any guide to learn. But in order to fully ultilize it, I decide to learn it by looking for some useful video on Video.


I manage to find the cool video clip from TipB.com which show how to do stuff on your iOS4 include multitasking, create folders, iBooks, changing the walpaper, tips and tricks that useful.

Finally, Apple had release their new version of iPhone 4. Let’s us look back the history of the phone that contribute about 40% of the total Apple sales in the pass 4 years.


From the picture below, you can see that the first iPhone was release to market by at 29 June 2007 has been hit about 1,000,000 units sales in 3 months time. At the mean time, the applications in Apps Store is 0.


On 11 June 2008, Apple bring us the upgrade version of iPhone – iPhone 3G and it only take 3 days to hit 1,000,000 sales. At the mean time, the application in Apps Store has been hit 3,000 apps.


One year later, Apply bring us again the fastest iPhone but the price stay the sames at 19 June 2009. This time only take 2 days to hit 1,000,000 units sales and the application in Apps Store has been hit 100,000 applications.


At 24 June 2010 – iPhone 4 had make another record with hitting 1,500,000 units sold in the first day of release with 600,000 of pre-order units. The application in apps store had hit 200,000 apps.
