Google Chrome – Address bar as the search engine

By on December 26, 2008

I believe most of the people experience that whenever you type in any wrong URL address or infor in the address bar, the browser will redirect you to the default search engine to search for the information.

If you want to search for some information in the firefox, you may need to key in the search key word at the search engine text box at top right hand side of the browser.

But Google Chrome combine this 2 features into you, the address bar in Google Chrome is not only for you to enter the URL, but it also a search engine for you to enter your search key word here.

You may also right click on the address bar to edit the default search engine as per for preference
