11street and Samsung sign MoU

 

SK Planet, which owns and operates 11street, and Samsung Southeast Asia have agreed to a partnership that will provide Samsung with better brand presence in the region.

“Through this collaboration, we are forging a stronger alliance with Samsung to increase our offering of handheld devices and consumer electronics products to our consumers. We look forward to supporting Samsung in strengthening their product stronghold in Southeast Asia, and will leverage our platform to offer their range of quality products to our consumers,” said Hoseok Kim, CEO, 11street Malaysia.

Looking to lead the e-commerce market in the region and provide customers a more convenient way to buy their favorite Samsung gadgets, SK Planet and Samsung signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Previously, both companies had worked together and maintained a significant online presence in South Korea.

“We see an increase of online purchases made via mobile from the outlying cities, we are glad to collaborate with 11street as one of our online partners to enhance our loyal and potential consumer’s online shopping experience. With only just a click away, we want Malaysians to experience the whole Samsung ecosystem!” said Lee Sang Hoon, President of Samsung Malaysia Electronics.

Samsung plans to enhance customer shopping experience on 11street by introducing their Samsung official Shop-in-Shop page. This allows customers to not only access exclusive online-only pre-sale offers but also 11street’s promotional discounts. In addition, the service ensures customers will get their products quickly and a hassle-free product installation service by authorized Samsung distributors.

To celebrate the partnership between the two companies, 11street will be having a series of promotions beginning this March. This will include, free installation, delivery and extended warranty for selected Samsung electronics and home appliances. In addition, 11street will have a monthly ‘Samsung Day’ that will package bundles, discounts and credit rebates particular products.
