Malaysia online bus ticketing web site

Malaysia Bus Ticketing come to online now

For the frequent traveller using the Bus Express in Malaysia should be know that the online bus ticket purchasing is not that convenience and famous in Malaysia as compare to the Air Ticket. Whenever you want to purchase any bus ticket you may need to call to the ticket counter to reserve your ticket or you need to walk in to the ticket counter to make your purchase. This is not convenience for most of the people.

With the grown of e-commerce in Malaysia, now you can easily purchase bus ticket and make your full payment online such as how you purchase air ticket or movie ticket. Just pay your ticket online and print out the statement with the purchase code to collect your ticket 30 minutes before departure time. For the online payment, currently those bus ticketing web site are working with Web Cash as well as Malaysia No. 1 payment gateway – iPay88 to accept the Credit card payment online.
For me, this is pretty cool and I’m looking for through out the long time (my degree final year project was the online bus ticketing system about 6 years back, that time e-commerce is a brand new word in Malaysia.)
Here are some of the Malaysia Online Bus Ticketing web site:

It is very popular now a days to book the ticket online. We could pay the amount while hiring the buses also. The ticket Goose is a site which has already started its move on Online ticket booking. Its very convenient for everyone now. We can save the time through this mode of booking.

not sure is there a bus ticket marketing system will become like those budget air line ticket, where you may purchase in advance for as long as 6-12 months with a very low price.

I think this may also help to increase the public user especially for those always purchase ticket online.

This is a win-win situation for those bus company as well as the consumer.

Hi, any idea how to buy child ticket online? Thanks.

I used to purchase via the http://www.kbes.com.my web site. You may just make the payment online via iPay88 using most of the Malaysia online banking payment as well as credit card.

Very good … no need to queue …. LOL
By the way , they are using Webcash payment gateway for internet banking, not Ipay88. Credit is ipay88.

Hi Azrin, Yes, i just double confirm that the online Banking payment gateway is provided by WebCash through the MEPS FPX (Financial Process Exchange) and confirm that Credit card is provided by iPay88.

I only use credit card for all my online ticketing purchase, so not realize on that issue.

Thanks for your update on my content.

    HI David,

Thank you for your info but your information is not accurate. The payment gateway for all the bus ticketing is provided by Webcash (www.webcash.com.my). Not ipayy88 as you mentioned. Just to make sure that the correct company gets the credit. Not like the saying ‘lembu punya susu, sapi dapat nama’.

    1. David 09/09/2011 at 10:24 am

Sorry Rajah, just double confirm again on the KBES.com.my web site, I apologize for my big mistake. The online banking payment gateway is provided by WebCash and the Credit card payment provided by iPay88.

    Hi, David.

You dah salah buat kenyataan la. Payment Gateway yang digunakan oleh bus express di Malaysia adalah WEBCASH PAYMENT GATEWAY. bukan ipay88. Kedua-dua syarikat ini adalah berbeza. WEBCASH is “The Best Payment Gateway in Malaysia”. Please perbetulkan kenyataan you. Thank you 😉
