A month ago, Maxis Berhad collaborated with local digital platform, Xentral Methods Sdn Bhd (e-Sentral) and organized an ebook writing competition. So after a month of accepting works from local aspiring authors, Maxis has announced that these ebooks are now available for preview and free downloads from the Maxis ebook service at ebuuk.com.my and e-Sentral’s website until April 25, 2013.
Besides allowing the public to get their hands on some interesting ebooks, Maxis will also use this platform to determine the winners of the competition as the authors of the five most downloaded ebooks will receive an iPad each, while the author of the most downloaded book will receive a Professional Editorial and Publishing Consultation on how to publish and commercialize their work on digital platforms.
