Snapchat to let users publish Stories outside the app

In an effort to regain its popularity, Snapchat is reportedly developing a feature that will let users share stories outside its app, called Stories Everywhere.
It’s no secret that Snapchat’s relevance has been dwindling, Instagram is currently dominating the ‘stories’ game in addition to experiencing lower share prices during Q3.
Since then, Snapchat has worked hard to get back on track, redesigning itself to include a more concentrated Discover feed. The feed lets users get entertainment and news from TV, online sources and professional print.
It appears that the Stories Everywhere project is aimed in amplifying user growth as well as making Snapchat a more engaging platform when it comes to editorial content, news, sports and more. In other words, if stories are shared outside of Snapchat, it could drive more users to get on the Snapchat app.
